MY FELLOW TEA SOMMELIERS

The following is a list of my fellow Certified Tea Sommeliers as at December 2010.  We've all passed the Tea Sommelier certificate program at George Brown College which is comprised of eight 18-hour courses and passed the Tea Association of Canada's rigorous tasting and tea presentation exam.  To date there have been three 'cohorts' -- I'm from the second cohort which took its exam in the spring of 2010.

Some of us took the course and the Certification exam because we love tea and the sensory world of taste and many took it to enhance and develop their business interests.  Where I'm aware of a website associated with them, I've attached a link to their name.

UPDATE: As of spring 2012 I can no longer find the list of certified sommeliers on the Tea Association of Canada's website.  A shame since now no one curious can find out who's really Certified.
UPDATE: August 2014 - TAC now lists all their members, including Tea Sommeliers, on their website.  It is not a list of all the graduates of the various college's Tea Sommelier programs though, which seems a missed opportunity.
